Wow I just read through that whole thread. I would have posted in there, but the thread was already locked. That presh dude and cray are ------- gay lovers alright. Oh and Presh why the ---- are you running c16 in a stock d-series only making 200whp? I see absolutely no reason to run race gas with that much octane on your setup, it's just not necessary. Your afraid to make a few dyno runs on 94 octane? lmao... that is funny.

On and since were on the topic of people helping and giving out bins... DAVE (leed) IS THE MAN! I tried giving him money for making my bin and helping me out with tuning my car, but he wouldn't accept it. Now that is a good guy right there... big thumbs up!

Oh and here is a quote from that presh homo in that other thread... "Does that mean I should install DSM 450's for free also, because I learned how to do it from HMT? Once again, I charge for my TIME." Jeff (Abaz) actually installed my resistor box and injectors for me, I basically just helped a little bit and learned a lot. How much did he charge for his time? Nothing... Now that is helping people.

If I ever get good enough to tune other peoples cars I would do it for free because I like all that tuning ----, it's fun! I would also help any of my friends out with building/installing a turbo kit (anything car related) if they needed help, free of course. I actually just met a guy in my town and I am helping him out right now getting his car setup with uberdata. I can't really tune that well, but I can throw my wideband on his car and use my bin and get it running decent enough (better than his greddy blue box, no ignition retard, DSM 450cc injectors, and low fuel pressure setup). It will defintely be safer and I will just leave the fine tuning to somebody else.

HMT and uberdata are all about helping people, not making money.

I think you should look into setting up a 'BIN depository'

Buy the hosting yourself and create a place where BINs are easily deposited and can clearly be organized into code generations and ECU/engine specfic combinations and features.

Make that your 'contribution to DIY ECU tuning'

I'll be happy to post some BINs once that is setup...cool?

Hell I'll do it...and charge a $1 per BIN DL...hrm, now thats another money-maker.

Nevermind everything I just said, I may have to do this myself :P

Chris.. I'll throw a quick and dirty PHP script together for you if you want, and give you access to it on the TurboEDIT.org site. I'll have it mod the map library on there.

I'll try to get to it this weekend..
