Hey Guys I am using xp pro. Batronix 4 programmer and there latest softwae. I am getting a cannot start kernal error. I did what thr forum said about installing the drivers ect. Anyone have any ideas? i really need to burn this chip

 

I have the same exact setup and you and mine worked fine. Make sure it's plugged in with the correct power supply. Plugging a nokia phone charger into the wall and plugging the correct power supply into you burner doesn't work... It took me a good while to realize why my burner wouldn't work lol. Umm and check your jumpers too. Not really sure what the kernal error is about. I would just uninstall the software, reinstall it, and see if that works.

 

got it make sure you delete the old directory if you have one.....


Now why cant i program 29c256 chips. Cant write sector 0
