Re: anybody running NepTune?
Currently i'm running crome, but as i've come to realize i don't have time to be ------- around and trying to tune my car, and trying to drive to someone to tune it just never seams to happen. So i've also been looking at evans-tuning and switching to neptune. I really don't care if i can't tune it. i jst wanna have the car tuned once and for all and call it a day. I'm also looking at the augest time frame consitering they are booked until then.
I also wanna ask them if i can keep my ECU because i believe neptune runs off a standard socketed ECU so if thats true then maybe it will cut a huge number off the cost. I just spent $540 from xenocron on a ful ecu/ostrich/WB and now to turn around and pay another $600 it just crazy. So i'm hoping i can get atleast $400 back from my current ---- and then just chip in anoher 2 and get a good tune.

But my current base will get me out there, i mean i've been driving on it for the last 3 months.
As of right now my plan is to head back up to xenocron and have him retune my car again on a dyno and see what we come up with.
LAst time i went up he only could do a very basic base map because on the way up there i blow my rear main seal.
So maybe just maybe i can finally get this final POS running right!!!
Evans is just were it's at, don't get me wrong crome is the ---- for the DIY'er but on a commercial level Neptune is one of the best.

all i know is that there are nothing but excellent reviews and comments on neptune and im not talkin hear-say or bandwagon ****. there are guys selling their s300 to switch to this. and the new rtp release will be available to everyone(diy's)

Re: anybody running NepTune?
if you check servions web site in my reply above, you will see that he has tuned many 350-400 whp cars on neptune running on pump gas and making amazing torque numbers that almost match hp, and theres even a 500+ whp car on there he tuned on pump gas...91 octane baby....
