Joseph...where'd you get the idea my bin cuts by 50%?? It actually only cuts by 37.5% (multiplies by 5/8).
Cutting by 50% would have been easy (simply a single instruction) but it wastes a couple of map columns - hence I went with 37.5%, which gives the uppermost MAP column somewhere near 10.5psig (right near the stock MAP sensors limit).

George... I'm a tard is why I assumed that. I read everything once and then go from memory... sometimes things get a little jumbled, like when I haven't slept in a couple days. I had a long discussion on performing division in assembler with Blake a week or so back, I think I got a little confused. Thank you for checking in on this thread!

So, add a little fuel to the boost columns and call it a day? :P

Ok, so this file here..
http://pgmfi.crx-forum.org/phorum/do...d_baseline.bin
as it is, will do what?? Will this run my B18a with my pm6 ecu as is with 450's?? Or do i only use this once i'm ready to boost??? Also, if this is for boost, how many psi is it good for?? Ghettodyne only shows up to 1.3psi??? I'm lost......

I respond to email much more than anything else.

HT just has more activity at 4am for a bored insomniac than this board does... I really prefer HMT to anything HT, to tell you the truth.

I pasted my LS MAPhack maps into the PM6Georgehack.bin, added 5-10% fuel to the boost columns, and gave the chip to a local kid running B18A turbo... I talked to him earlier, he had only limped it in and out of the shop door due to no downpipe at that point. It was running rich but would rev past ~2500 (stock ECU with 450cc bogs there), he got about ~1 psi without CEL.

I should know more tomorrow, and I'll be playing with the code in my CRX this weekend as the last of my parts to fix it arrive Friday FINALLY. It's been 4 months I've been limping an oil burning stock DX hatchcrap.

It'll still be a couple weeks, i'm still waiting for my Goddman Mounts, and Manifold....But i'll be sure to include a complete write up, pics and price list, dyno sheets, 1/4 mile times, bin files, the whole deal...........

Re:All the gear...

I talked to Wes today; the chip is running and works. I went a little overboard with the fuel, as it dumps black sooty exhaust when you close the throttle under boost and you can SMELL the raw gas (a la the gentleman running -25% fuel with the AFC boost hack).

Wes and I have completely disparate schedules, and the carolinahondas.com Asheville meet and Deals Gap run are this weekend... I probably won't have any tuning time on his car until Monday - I should have mine running before then anyway. The maps in the MAPhack LS baseline NEED to have the idle injector pulsewidth tweaked as it's too rich, and 5-10% more fuel under the boost tables is a bit much.
