eh...i got a chance to use it quite a bit on my friends H22 hatch
we never got that thing running right...you really need to have a lot of experience or a lot of time the first time you set one of those up.
once you get everything set up and running correctly in the software, tuning is a breeze though
not worth the $$$ IMO

time i have but is it that hard to get it up and running? does the base map it come with that bad? and i dont know anyonw who would switch from an ems to uberdata if they had it in the first place. i guess its just your preference on what you want to run.

not saying you cant learn, but knowing what each of those correction maps and tables do is daunting at best, takes a lot of reading and comprehension, thats why i say the experience helps

EMS tuning is very difficult, and EMS tuners are far and few between.
I know that Sean over at a local shop here in portland called TorqueFreaks gets paid mega money to be flown all over the world to tune peoples cars. He always has a story about how he just got back from Rome or New Zealand, etc...
