Default 99' Civic Si, .60 t3,dsm 450s,walboro 255, & apexi afc. Settings? Need Help.

Hi to everyone I'm installing a .60 nissan t3 in my 99 si b16a,w dsm 450s,walboro 255lps intank pump, & apexi afc. I was wondering if anyone here had a similar setup. I want to boost 8psi. Does anybody have the settings on the afc for this? I already looked in the settings post & the closest thing was a guy with a t3/t4 & 550 injectors. I don't know if I could use his same settings. Please let me know.

Yeah, i have the same setup, but it's going on my B18. I too was wondering about these settings, but I do know that every engine will be different. The settings may be higher or lower, but it's better to start off too rich and slowly lean it out than to start off too lean.

Start off rich. Try -32 all the way across and go up from there.

Ok thanks Doc. How do I know what setting to stop at? I've only seen an afc mounted in a car before, I've never dialed one in or seen one turned on.

Do I need the check valve set up on the map sensor with an afc?

Nope, no check valves with the AFC.

I guess you have no gauges? I would suggest keeping it rich then since you can't tell when it gets lean. Check the exhaust smell. Have someone drive behind you while you hammer it. You should be able to feel it when it hits lean.

if you haven't already, I would purchase an A/F guage and a boost guage at the least.

Some ppl will argue that a A/F is not accurate enough.

I have an a/f gauge and it's better than nothing. I'm not going to spend $500 or more on a ------- gauge. As long as I have a rough idea of where the a/f is I am happy.
