Default 91PM6GeorgeHack.BIN

For those that know, I've got a REX using about 7-8psi on the IHI RHb5 and I finally got my rom burner together and I used this binary file for my setup.... and it rocks. Under full throttle the CEL is gone (whoo), and the a6 is getting proper fueling all the way to redline. It's just amazing to be able to drive it without the cel lol BTW, i'm using the 450cc's.

I do have ONE small problem though. At 20 vac, 10 vac, and 0, there's a small jolt if I stay in that area. It's easy to avoid it, but 10 vac is common for 45-50 mph and it jolts pretty good. It happens so fast that I can't see if it's running to rich, or too lean. Maybe George or Joseph can help here.

Thanks again! Aw! Whoohho.

Glad to see it's working for you
I posted an updated version of that rom (91PM6GeorgeHackv2.bin) in the maphack thread the other day - give it a try and see if it helps that stutter issue.

update:

Version 2 isn't working properly in my case. It was jerky all in vac and a little bit under full throttle. Version 1 appears to own version 2 The only tiny prob with ver 1 is that vac 20 vac 10 and 0, but it's easy to pass them without the jerk. I'm very happy with ver 1.

Hmm, bugger - I was hoping I'd found the problem.
There are only 2 versions of the pm6georgehack's but I did also make up "trial.bin" which uses a quite different technique and gives linear MAP scales. I don't advise trying to run that file without modifying the fuel/ignition tables to suit.

Shortyz, there is no map grid switching taking place in these "hack" roms so thats not the problem - I wish it was so simple.

Give me another couple of weeks and I'll have my engine broken in - that'll allow me to do some serious testing and debugging.

Don't get me wrong George, that code rocks... Think about it.. it's getting the proper fuel, idles good, does the timing, and it's as easy as pluggin' in a chip... life don't get much better than that. I'm now able to drive my car like it's suppose to in traffic I would inspect only those points in the fuel/spark (20,10, and 0.) Of course 20 isn't that big of a deal.

can I use this program on my d16z6 with pm6? I guess the fuel tables would be the same since i don't have vtec running.
