I'm running 8 injectors on mine, 2 individually programmed banks run by dual table code on my MegaSquirt ECU
I needed more fuel, I had injectors from a Ford 1.9L, I had a lathe, tig welder and power tools so I welded bungs into the intake runners to accept my extra injectors and fabricated a fuel rail for them.
Yes it would have been easier to just get a set of DSM injectors but I didn't have those around.

WOW! hows it working for you (the 8 injectors and MegaSquirt) did you bild the MegaSquirt ecu your self or did you have some one ells bild it? how rich are you running?

Built it myself. With the stock fuel pump the fueling was "just about right" at full throttle because the fuel pressure was dropping so much, then I swapped in a fuel pump from a Dodge Shadow 2.5 turbo and stalled the engine when it hit boost (too rich)
Remapped the fuel and it's been running fine for 5 months, with the exception that my wastegate pressure line vibrated apart and I had 20+psi boost (my boost gauge and MAP sensor only go to 20psi so I have no idea how much boost it was) and blew a head gasket.

Well I etched my own PCB, that was the hardest part. The partial kit from Al goes for $120 and includes a premade PCB, programmed processor, MAP sensor and injector FET driver.
Then it's just a question of soldering all the components to the board, takes a while since they're about 200 solder joints , but it's pretty straight forward and there are very good step-by-step instructions on the web.
I have 3 megasquirt boards as of now, one running in my car, two not fully assembled since I'm waiting for a parts order that's in the mail and should arrive in the first week of january. One unit goes on my dad's 400 chevy v8 that we're converting to EFI for various reasons, and the other will be a development board for the distributorless version of megasquirt'n'spark which I'm about to design.
There's a pretty large userbase around MegaSquirt, providing good support, and there is a lot of online documentation.
I'm running a code offspring called dualTable right now, it has 2 independent fuel tables for staged injection (bank 1 for the main injectors, bank 2 for supplemental injectors, very neat for added gas and the second bank could also carry water, race gas, propane, paint thinner, alky or some other high-octane exotic fuel for boost )
It also has electronic boost control, nitrous safety switch (turns on if the engine is in the desired rpm range and warmed up), launch control (connect a switch to the clutch pedal or a button on the steering wheel or shiftstick, moves the revlimit to some new value you set for consistent launches), 3 stage shift light output.
Some programming knowledge really helps, because if you can alter the program code yourself the possibilities are countless. I added a shift light and launch control to mine before they became standard features in dualtable.
I'm currently running the ignition off my stock ECU, but it uses a MAF sensor which is really cutting me back because it's not designed for 50% more airflow and is a huge restriction.
That's why I'm going to convert to MegaSquirt'N'Spark, but I want to retain some dualtable features so I'm going to modify the code to add launch control, shift light, boost control and while I'm at it, add overboost protection and distributorless ignition.
The microcontroller has 14 or so unused digital I/O pins which can be made to do whatever with a little programming. There are also 2 unused analog input pins.
I also have a MegaView unit, haven't assembled it tho as I'm waiting for some parts. The megaview will allow me to adjust some settings like perharps boost targets, launch rpm, shift rpm and such, as well as displaying engine parameters (Boost, throttle position, coolant temp, intake temp, injector pulsewidths, O2 sensor voltage, battery voltage, rpm and more) without hooking up the laptop. It's not a primary tuning device though, just a neat addition.

that is really cool, thanks for all the good detal. bottom line are you going to bild the system and sell them? if so how much will they go for?

No, I'm not selling this, it will be open source.

Nice man...sound awesome.
A friend of mine is busy building his Swift GTI he has the mega squirt with dualtable and the megaview. It is pretty straitgh forward to asseble it. He's going to use a Ford EDIS system we picked up at a yunkyard. I see you have a Vitara Buldar...Suzuki engines are pretty strong man the G13B from the swift gti's can take a lot of boost. How does it feel to drive a 4x4 with so much boost?

It feels great driving uphill in snow on full throttle. I'm only making about 150hp right now but that's still a pretty quick 4x4 when it weighs only 2600lbs. I still need to build a straight pipe exhaust and a MAF-less air ram intake. Now I just have an adapter pipe where the catalytic converter was, mating my 2.5" downpipe to the stock 1.something" exhaust
I was going to fit an EDIS system, and might still do that but EDIS systems aren't readily available in Iceland because there aren't many 1990-1997 ford escort 1.9s at the junkyards... In fact I haven't seen a single EDIS in the junkyards here, hence why I'm looking into designing my own DIS system, I need to build a trigger wheel anyway and I'm looking into swapping in a G13B head sometime, which doesn't have a distributor that fits in my car (it won't clear the firewall unless I move the motor forward an inch)
The Suzuki motors are different... The G13B has a forged crank but weak rods and open-deck block design (kind of floating sleeves, like the in the hondas), G16B has a weak cast crank but strong pistons it seems and reinforced sleeves. The Hayabusa engine has strong everything and I know of one guy running over 600hp on his hayabusa powered land speed racer, using 30psi boost and MegaSquirt.
