ms 2 will work just fine for you... but ms3 has more features and can datalog, the big thing about ms3 is that it can do sequential injection on v8s. ms1 will probably work but we usually just use it on fuel only applications.

I would go with the MS3 for the on board data logging, sequential injection, and it also has built in coil on plug capability if needed.

hmm i was assuming the 2300cc ford is a 4 cylinder in which case ms2 will do sequential injection just fine. but if you really want to pay double just to have data logging go for it

The standard MS2 has 2 injector outputs , unless you run some extra hardware and the extra code etc, its not true sequential. I run bank to bank on my v8 through 8 low Z injector drivers on the MS2. The MS3 is worth the extra money IMO, and the datalogging is nice. For the unassembled kit, MS3=$365, MS2=$247 Check out DIYautotune.com

I don't think that is a standard capability of the MS3, but it seems like someone was working on a way to control that with this unit.

Some people using MS have a simple on/off switch on the VVT so it is either full on or off
