Default welding aluminum with OA

so after a couple of weeks of downloading ron covell's video's and finally getting to watch the one where he makes gas tanks.... holey ----. he's freakin tight.
he showed you how to weld aluminum with oxy acetylene. now im trying it.
first thing will be my intercooler pipes.
i might even try my distributor.

in the video downloads. at the top of the fabrication forum there is a thread for torrents.
that has all the videos of how to's.
they are super sick.

i have a feeling its about brazing or soldering and not really welding. i could be wrong though and i will find out when the vids are back up

^ oh yes you will.
its not soldering and i dont think you braze aluminum.
he says it himself that youre welding aluminum with a certain flux and
a particular pair of lenses. and then he proceeds to weld the
aluminum tank. and hammers it too.

just found the stuff you need to weld aluminum with gas.

this place called TM2000 technologies makes everything.
check em out. google the name or something.

just ordered everything i need to weld aluminum and stainless steel with
oxy acetylene. no more need for tig. too expensive and you gotta have 220.
plus this is the process preferred for welding structural aviation equipment.
