The WRX is still going to be offered as a sedan. But the STi will be a wagon only. I think it is the wrong move, specially with the new Evo coming out.
I think Subaru lost the edge.
True, the 2002-early2003 tranny sucks *****, I blew mine after the new turbo, but the newer trannies are fine. I have been running the car for over a year now with the new one.
If you buy a 2004+ WRX you should be fine, as long as you know how to drive AWD cars. Not the same as our civics.
I don't like it, It looks too common, too plain, just like most other Jap and Korean cars.
The engine materials have gone cheaper, the factory intercooler now is plastic, I believe the BOV is too. Of course to us it doesn't matter much, it would be changed, but still it feels like getting less for more.
