The WRX is still going to be offered as a sedan. But the STi will be a wagon only. I think it is the wrong move, specially with the new Evo coming out.

I think Subaru lost the edge.

True, the 2002-early2003 tranny sucks *****, I blew mine after the new turbo, but the newer trannies are fine. I have been running the car for over a year now with the new one.

If you buy a 2004+ WRX you should be fine, as long as you know how to drive AWD cars. Not the same as our civics.


I don't like it, It looks too common, too plain, just like most other Jap and Korean cars.
The engine materials have gone cheaper, the factory intercooler now is plastic, I believe the BOV is too. Of course to us it doesn't matter much, it would be changed, but still it feels like getting less for more.

everyone says this but after they updated 1st gear we havent seen any problems with them. We get proably 2ish STI trannys a month Id take a WRX tranny over a STI

I could see that most STI trannys get Declined for warranty. If theirs anything done to the car we dont even pull it in the shop for warranty work.
