Default wireless network??Buk...anyone???

Ok, my DSL is down but I jumped on the closest wireless unsecured network. I dont know wich one of my neighbors it is. I have no idea whos it is.

So my question, can they tell I'm on it?

Cool, thanks. I'm not concerned that they know Im on it. My wife needs to work from home and the dam thing is not working. She needs to log on to her network at home through a secured sit. I guess she'll be ok

ha, awesome. if you dont care about that kinda stuff (morality wise) then just cancel your DSL and use their wavelength

Thanks guys. Turned out it was the motum(sp ). It fried last night during an storm. Shes back up and running

The only way they can tell is if they are smart enough to look for certain things.

If you have an open access to your computer and so do they... If you're on the same netwrok they can view your files in I-tunes and you can see theres as well...

That's the only way that I know of to know if someone is on your network.

But as stated if they didn't block it they probably arent smart enough to know you're on it.

But don't do something important that takes a long time. A lot of times your router can knock you off a f* it up.
