lol i just got pulled over in my DRIVEWAY cop flipped a U about a 1/4mile or so back... passes by my place, slaps it in reverse and hits the lights then pulls in behind my car....to let me know that "front plate is still required"...damnedist thing thats what the last ticket and all my registrations say too also the only two cars at my plate right now are mine (GSR and GTI) and it doesnt have a plate either (got the ticket last time in that)...


anyway i didnt get a ticket but he did do some bitching.... but seriously WTF is there point with the front plate?? is there a good reason that im missing for acually have a plate on the front of the car? i know in many states they dont give two ***** about the front plate....

i usually leave mine off and when they whine about it, i say it fell off and i pull it from my back seat floor and show it, usually they let me go. I really dont know what the point is. I know in NY they "require it" but i think its all a bunch of bs... what good does it actually do? I believe most states dont care about a front plate...

im gonna take my plate and throw it in the grass then run it over with my car till tis fucked up,then when they ask why its not on my car i have a *REAL* exuse why its not there..."its too fucked up to even bolt to the front of the car cuz it fell off and people ran it over....here take a look at it"

we have that ---- here in VA too. new jetta and passat owners are a little pissed since you have to drill holes in the big chrome front to mount them
