What should I do about a car?
After a 3 year wait from a DWI w/ no traffic violations, my insurance and driving record finally goes back to normal in August when I renew. I'd love to buy a newer truck like a Chevy SS silverado. But then I also just thought about getting a small 4k loan or so for a CRX w/ a B16 or a GSR Teg. I'm just wanting something reliable as hell, and reasonably priced. I know I will have to have full coverage on whatever I get if I get a loan, or financing. What do you guys think I should do? I'm missing a "fun" car, and my 88' Chevy truck is on it's last ticks (327k miles and brakes are shot). I have a company truck so I dont need a truck. But between the CRX and Teg, dollar for dollar what rout would you go?

I have them both and they definitely have a different feel... The teg hasn't been running yet, but I've rode in one before, and pretended to drive mine 
The crx is more "fun" in my opinion since it feels like a little gocart. It's definitely got some hooptie characteristics since it's so old and tiny, but they can be decent cars. Teg is newer and feels a lot safer to drive in, and their price is about the same :P

integra
1)newer, saftey measure goes up. less injury in car crash
2)newer you don`t die as easy in a crash
3)newer, less reliability issue (ding ding ding)
4)newer suspension
5)less rust, less cracked/jacked up connector and wiring (reliability issue)
6)looks better? (each to his own)
7)cup holder
roomier so u can bang in the back
9)less roadnoise, less interior noise, LESS WORK to make it less noisy
10) bigger engine to begin with, all the b-series ---- is already there if you care.
CRX
1)old car with crap crash rating and u will prob.ly just drop dead when u crash
2)rust out suspension bolt that breaks on you
3)---- up balljoint simply becasue its too old
4)leaky window/ leaky weatherseal, the door lock/window conrtol is prob.ly not working :P
5)it IS ligther and easier to go faster but i see it as you will die quicker
6)possibilly dried out/ cracked interior all over
7) CHEAPER
cheaper interior to begin with
9)prob.ly comes with a tired engine :P
