get into an MMA class or BJJ

its fun, an uses your abs in a different way then any ab machine. I like to keep a fairly lean diet but mix it up! eating just chicken is bad for you and your body will drop while your on the chicken and gain when your off it.

I havent had time to work ot in a while Im at 185 now, was at 160-165 when i was doing BJJ and felt so much better and energized then I do now.

good luck and its all about perservirance and manintaining a set scheduel

running won't do ---- to trim fat. (unless your are very overweight already)

I'm not speculating on this, I've been training people this ---- forever.

if you want the DETAILED long explanation with big vocabulary words you probably won't understand, send me a PM.

if you want to melt fat off really fast this is what you do.

3-4 times a week get on an elliptical machine, (thing that looks like a nordic trac/stair machine put together) DO NOT GO FAST, you want to raise and maintain your heartrate about 20-30% over your resting heart rate.

if you are out of breath your going to fast. its more like a fast walk, but slower than a jog...just the start of a little sweat on the forehead.

you need to do the elliptical machine for 40-60 min.

do it on an empty stomach, preferably in the morning soon after you wake up. (your metabolism is at its highest)

the first 15-20 min burn simple sugars, followed by the burning of exclusively fat tissue for the next 20-30 min (THIS IS PROVIDED YOU ARE NOT GOING TO FAST)
if your doing it correctly you won't even feel like your getting much of a work out.
the next 10-15 min is considered a cooldown period but your not changing anything. at this point your body starts catabolizing (breaking down) muscle tissue.

get off the machine. after 40-60 min your wasting your time.

if you want to HMT your workout (make it work better/faster) throw in some strength training of your choice with free weights before or after your done with your elliptical routine.

oh yeah in case you forgot. DO NOT GO FAST, if your out of breath then your increasing your cardiovascular endurance but not doing hardly ---- for fat burning.

thats it. you can lose 15-20 pounds in the first 2-3 weeks doing this. If you do strength training along with it, you'll get really cut, really fast.

**DIET: Chicken and rice, if you eat burgers make it a 1/4 pound instead of a Double quarter pounder.

Have sex.. a lot of sex. If you are really that concerned, try swimming. Yeah, it sounds gay, but it works pretty much every muscle group in your body. Swim 2 miles a day if you can, and keep eating healthy. I've figured out that if I have like one really unhealthy meal (4 JBC's from wendys, fries and a frosty) every few weeks, it seems like I lose weight the next day rather than gain. Weird, but true. And seriously, why do you care about the shape your body is in? I'm not terribly in shape (too much beer) and still enjoy life. But, I could probably keep up with 99% of the people on this site in terms of fitness ----, so maybe I do care lol.

Salt Water if you really want to cut weight quickly. Those ab machines suck ****, and the electric stimulus belts do too. Don't buy them. Perfect Push-Up is the only ---- on TV that works, and that thing is really useful. Buy one for $30 at costco.

I lost 70 lbs in 8 months in college. Working part time at UPS (sometimes 2 5-hour shifts), 6 hours of school, Lots of Ramen Noodles, and 10 mile runs every day (found motivation in a breakup, just zoned out and ran my *** off). Went from 250 to 180. Fucked up my back at work and gained it back. Trying like hell to get back down now that my back dosen't bother me so much anymore.

Sexercise, ----, I wish it worked that well, feels great, but its not going to get the results.

Do cardio, run bike, elliptical whatever in the morning is best but any time is good. Also change the diet up a little. Things that are bad ground beef, sausage, liquid cheese sauces, generally thick creamy sauces, like cream of ___ soup are made of fat, and fried things, like crispy chicken. Most important eat lots of lean protein like chicken grilled not fried and fish, and slow digesting or low glycemic index carbs, like whole grain stuff.
