Swap in the spare, run 12 psi til it blows then swap in your original engine, since you already know its a good one

What for the MAF signal? I'm not the knowledgeable with electronics...so theoretically I could wire in some resistors to bump up the signal to 12v? would be interesting but for $325(cheapest option for the MSP) I can get a tried and test AFC...in stock form with the AFC I can run 8-9psi thats the paln

No, you cannot wire in a resistor to UP the voltage. If it were the other way around and the had 12 volts and need something on the 6 volt scale it would most likely be possible. Now there may be a circuit that could be used to read a 6 volt range signal and accomodate the 12 volt requirement, but I would be is in the "special AFC" that you mentioned.

yes it is its FS (FS2 I believe) very common motor in fords and mazdas go to the parts store and ask to compare the exhaust gaskets

yea I know i know but the pistons will probably melt at 12psi anyways :P

I said I wasn't good with electronics the fastDSM AFC is the only option other than I think e-management which is more $ and not as good or a full standalone so in true HMT style I'll choose the cheapest option...this is only my DD anyways...

Just ordered an a new acctuator and a MBC from blasst, so well be boosting strong again soon, I'll turn it up a bit now too since she runs pig rich from the factory and boggs at WOT

One of my friend's had the same exact car, but in blue...he had the same problem with the wastegate as you do. I talked to him a few times about the car, and he said he had a found a way to chip the ecu...only problem was the way the ecu's are setup it erases what you programmed on when you turn off the car, so you'd have to have a constant voltage source to the ecu in order to retain your tune. All in all they aren't too bad, and they handle like a beast too.
