old school hemi build
hello,
well i have been reading many good posts since joining this site. This is what I have determined so far , about what i am hoping to achieve.
Electronic Fuel injection of the Hilborn variety would be my first choice, followed by mechanical injection of the same brand, as choice no.2. both very expensive , but directly available for the 392.
It is currently looking as it will be a blow through carburetor due to cost alone.
I will match this to quality turbo components, with longevity being the purpose behind that choice.
Am I missing something, in that with a blow through carb application there is little actual engine management going on? i.e. sensors? Yes I know there will be vacuum reference, but anything else?
Go easy on me, yes I read the sticky about noobees, asking the same old lazy questions. (Im still reading as time allows me.) thanks, Russ
