No more HMT at work...(computer geeks needed)
My service manager and I got talked to yesterday about being on the net while at work. Aparently our Field Ops manager got busted visiting personal add sites . Hes our boss :P but hes cool as hell! So basicall he was told that our big boss can moniter everyones internet activity from her personal computer. Now this is just a mom and pop shop. with no huge network. Just a bunch of cheap dell computers. We are all on the same router though. So is it possible for her to moniter our activity from her computer? I thought you needed a big network with big servers and ---- to be able to track everyones activity. I think she went onto his computer and checked his history.

im thinking like $40. check walmart.com. they carry them. signal quality depends on distance. im maybe......20yds away. decent signal. but still highspeed. only problem is she turns her internet off regularly. so i still use dialup mainly

probably has a logger, or they're just trying to scare you folks. Most anti-virus software will detect the keyloggers so if they have one installed then they're most likely just trying to keep you folks off the net.

Net opp is the most common program used to monitor your computer usage, and no your not safe just clearing out the history because if they have net opp then they can leech into every componet on your computer including what your screen looks like at the time.
