Computer Geeks Needed!!!

Computer Geeks Needed!!!
Well, I fancy myself as a semi-computer geek, I know enough to get by or at least get in trouble. Here is my latest conundrum. I have a DVD burner but I have never used it. Well, I went out and got some blank DVDs and I want to burn a copy of The Matrix Reloaded. I figure that since I don't have 2 DVD drives I will have to rip a copy of the movie to my hard drive then burn it to the DVD. Well, how do I do this? I have Roxio software but its limited in its use cause it came with the computer and I never paid to upgrade it. So any programs I can d/l to accomplish this or is there a really simple way to do this that I'm not seeing. Any and all help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Re:Computer Geeks Needed!!!
Now c'mon that is NOT the HMT attitude that I was looking for!! Aren't we all about sticking it to the MAN? If I go to Breast Buy (my former employer BTW) then I would just be following the mindless herd. Right? Thats not me nor most of the people on this board. We're not the guys who go out and buy a Greddy or Drag kit, are we? Can I get an AMEN? INGA WHAT!?!!?

Re:Computer Geeks Needed!!!
Sned me one when you figure it out.
I always thought this was an easy thing to do. When I burn CD's and download CD's I use "windows media player". There shoud be an option there to "copy from a CD" and then when you have it copied you can burn it to another CD. This is how I thought it was done. I hope I helped.

if its < 4.3GB rip it in iso read mode, then you can even use dvddecrypter to burn it back to disc with iso write mode
if it needs to be made smaller to fit dvd-r grab dvdshrink or dvd2one and use eitheer of those
