Here´s an amazing example...300+ bhp RWD mk1 swift gti conversion on custom chassis/suspension and BMW gearbox and axle... http://www.teamswift.net/viewtopic.php?t=9156

My god, that build up is NUTS!!!!! It is amazing...

That guy is swedish and he as 2 mk1´s one of wich does 12sec quarters with a 300+bhp turbocharged 1.3l, FWD...

This 2º gti(rwd) hopefully will get in the 10sec with only 1.3liters of pure poison...

I think that guy deserves a pize just for the effort, everything is hand made by him...

Now that i have all the essencial parts for stage1(stock internals), this weekend i´ll start the assemble, i´m going to route the piping, water/oil lines, dump pipe, charge pipes and turbo intake...

Then let the tuning begin...

Any advice Before i make a huge mistake?

-LM-1 with RPM kit
-60mm SS i/c piping
-Subaru Impreza stock dump valve
-Garndi/DMWdave stage1 turbo chip, fuel cut @7000 & @7600
-MOCAL oil cooler
-GREEN twister air filter

The car is running now, but off boost, n/a with turbo in place, it makes a really nice sound... Still have to install the electronics...

It´s been very hard work, all done by myself, in true ghetto style... A saab turbo, a vw i/c, subaru dump valve and nissan TB...

So it´s my civic duty to kill civics now...

Just can´t belive my luck... the rebuilt turbo is f.cked up...

After struggling with the tuning issues and the open BOV problems the turbo is getting worse by the mile...

Smokes alot cold, idling and wheen i lift the throttle, at WOT it´s fine but as soon as i lift the foot a huge cloud of smoke...

The gt17 is knowned for having bad seals but it was rebuilt and i only did 60 miles or so...

Maybe it has too much oil pressure, is it too late to put an oil restrictor and thicker oil??
