Actually no, the Xterra WD22 never came with a 4 cyclinder, only the weak *** VG33. They are great suv's and we have had very little problems with them. The only complaint I have is the lack of power, I simply could never buy a suv that was so gutless. Even the supercharged version is pretty weak. Dont expect pulling a boat or anything heavy. I was hoping in 05 they were going to transplant the vq35 in the xterra. But I guess not.

The few problems we have had are, the oil pan lip seals always leak on xterras, because they never put enough silicone on the backside at the factory. It's a easy 3.4 hours flatrate Also we have had a few problems with bank1 head gasket seaping, I've maybe did 4-5 of them, and atleast 75 oil pans. Reguardless warranty will cover it.

Good luck,

Jeff

CRV anyone?

I roll in my Girlfriend's '02. I used to hate them they always looked like *** to me, until I drove it. Interior is super plush, has an awesome drink carrier that securly holds 64oz soda or a 40oz beer.

The backseats fold and away almost totally giving a nice little sleeping area in the back, and the back seat reclines back too.

It aint real manly but that can be solved with some mud tires
