Re:A little story...
well i have a 99 si..and FWD sucks.. there is nothing flooring it at a stoplight and getting sideways in 1st, have the rear end swing out in 2nd, swing out then back in at 3rd, chirp at 4th ,chirp in 5th, then by 6th gear your going 140mph...yeah i rode in a camaro SS with a 150 shot before....If you ever drive or ride in a car that you can't lift your head out of the seat in..you will hate your car.

Re:A little story...
1.6l turbocharger = 1.6 * AT LEAST 2 = 3.2L in a 2200 pound crx
thats like having a engine with 3.2l in a tiny car.
its all about power to weight ratio.

All you have to do is read my quote at the bottom and you'll understand. ANYONE can buy a Z28, but it takes heart and knowledge to roast his *** with half the cylinders. ---- those guys
what do you say to someone with a camaro who twin turbos it, or adds NOS, or a cam/headers/intake manifold/ext

Re:A little story...
My first turbo race ever was against a 98+ Z28. He got a car length on the launch and pulled another on me by 70 mph, when we both shut it down. The next traffic light we pulled up to, it was more of the same.
He wasn't stock, or at least his exhaust wasn't, but knowing those cars he wasn't far from it with how they respond to modifications; I usually pull LS1 Camaros on the highway. Then again I had Todd with me, maybe he needs to diet? :P
Light little CRXs don't need much. gOt TeG, you could totally strip your car to a bare shell and have a big improvement... think of the car's resale value when the interior except front seats looks totally cherry. It's in your best interest, really.

just don't forget..camaros shine on the drag strip, thats what there made for. 320 horsepower stock.there is a reason these cars have 500 dollar a month insurance.5.7 liter..and you know what they say..theres no replacement for displacement.

Re:A little story...
ut o someone is pissed. hatin on his inline 4 cyclinder love
6 in a row won't go
4 in a row won't go
those are the old sayings.
i believe the new SVT supercharged mustangs are DOHC v8s.
they are pretty damn fast right out of the show room.
but z06 corvette OHV pushrod v8 ls6 engines are so perfectly engineered that you can get 405hp@6000rpm and still get 19/29 gas mileage. and run 12.4 out of the showroom.
name a inline engine powered car off the lot that has such a blend of performance, driveability, gas mileage, and style such as a new vette.
there is a reason the fastest dragsters in the world run big block v8 engines. if somehow having half the cyclinders and having them inline was so great, they would use them.

Wow, all of a sudden Random-strike thought he was Austin Coil for a minute.
My point is: If you buy a car that has 10 million horsepower, and you run around town talking ----, your a bitch. The respect goes to the guy that has the knowledge to build a 4 cylinder (or camaro etc...) to kick ***. He might not kill the 10 million horse car, but all that bitch did was pay for it. He don't know ----. And just for good measure... only babies use bottles.
