i just got a speeding ticket from 2 weeks ago i was doing 47 in a 35..but the road didnt have a ------- sign until after the police van. the ticket it $158 and i dont want to pay this bs id rather spend it on parts? is there anyway i can go around this without getting points or anything so insurance doesnt find out and i cant go to auto school if i have a bad driving record so i dont want to get kicked out. Should i do defensive driving school and how much does this cost? or should i rip up the fine and say i never got ----? the car is under my dads name but its my moms car and i was driving home from school.

they obviously ahve a copy on file, if you dont pay it they will issue a warrant out for your arrest, not meaning theyre gonna come to your crib and get you, but if a po runs your plates, youre gettin arrested for having an outstanding warrant

you can get a lawyer and try to fight it, but its def gonna cost you mroe than what the ticket is for.

You can try to do what I have done in th epast and go down to the courthouse and see if the public defender could talk to the cop and try to get it knocked down to less of violation like loud muffler or window tint. You will still get a fine maybe and probably less. I have gone down and done this a few times and get away with it.

WHATEVER YOU DO DON'T IGNORE THE TICKET. After you pay the fine keep the receipt for your records. I paid a seatbelt ticket once and they said they didn't receive it so I had to pay twice. I actually got arrested from that ticket and still had to pay all kind of fines b/c I didn't still have my receipt.
DON'T LEARN THE HARD WAY LIKE I DID !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
