Default Installed my boost gauge today..

I actually already installed it last weekend but the way it was mounted was a little ghetto.

So, I decided to fix that and make it look a little better.

Slight difference eh?

I took a bunch of pics while I was making it if anyone has any interest, I can post up a little write up. It took me about 5 hours to make, but I could make another one in less than an hour now that I know all the little idiosyncrasies involved and have all of the necessary materials on hand.

I know someone else did almost this exact same thing a month or 2 ago. If you were the one, speak up. I'm curious about mounting details. Right now, I just have a couple metal tabs holding it in the top and the bottom is held by friction, but I'm going to make that a little better.

Absolutely. As to what, I'm not 100% sure yet. Probably EGT and wb o2. I also thought about using 4 of the 1-1.5" gauges for voltage, oil pressure, water temp and fuel pressure. Only time and necessity will tell.

Yeah, that's quite the improvement. I saw the first pic and was thinking "Damn, you would think he could have done a better job of mounting it, and why is he posting pics of that nasty install?" :P

Nope.. but I don't care because only the defrost works anyway. I think I need to replace the heater resistor, but I've gone for 2 years with only defrost through buffalo winters with no problem. After this year, this car will never see snow again and I'll only drive it when it's warm.

Power window switches. I got power windows actuators and assemblies out of an 87 accord when I got my turbo. Not bad for $30 total. I was planning on getting a teg center console and putting the switches in and didn't know how much slack I'd need, so I built in enough to compensate. Right now the switches just sit loose beside my seat.
