---- if a bad mechanic was paid hourly he would make a badass paycheck. If a good mechanic was paid hourly he would make less. Shitty situation to be in, but its only a couple more hours of work, and if you are smart, wait until its almost time for the last hours and call in sick, let the other guy finish it up. Go to the doctor and get a note and there is nothing they can do to you. i think, don't quote me on that. If you do it and get fired i take absolutely no blame for it.

I was a 2nd shift manager at a gas station/store (w00t) a few years back, and someone came in asking to use the phone because the brand new Chrysler they were test driving decided to ---- the bed. Dealership came to pick the person up. It was quite funny. I don't think the guy bought one.

agreed. good techs can get'm done in 8-10 hours (buttoned up and running) and take the rest of the day off with the extra 2-4 hours in the bank.

Funny you said that, we had this douchbag ------- bring his car into our HONDA dealership and the viper owner wanted to pull his car unto the lift himself. The stupid ---- couldn`t even line the car up straight to get the lift arms under it so we had to line it up for him. All the while he watched liked we were going to ---- up his POS car. That kind of ---- pisses me off.

If you`re flagging 90hrs a week I wouldn`t bitch too much. Because it sounds like you aren`t doing warranty work or anything too difficult...must be all new car PDI`s huh? Those are cake.

I`ve been a honda cert/ase cert repair tech for 2 years, everyone I work with is a pissing moaning bitching diva...trust me if you`re around diva bitches it makes work miserable. Just find a new job if you hate it that much.

That is pretty gay that they shafted you with the whole splitting hours up. Know what? They get what they pay for. If they only want to pay you for 5.9 hours of work, then give them a 5.9 hours worth of work on that pile. In other words do a half assed job. ---- them. If they don't like then you'll probably get fired, but if they say that pull the old "you can't fire me I quit" card.
