I posted a picture of the wastegate I got. I'm almost done getting parts, so now I'm dying to put them on the car......People are asking me to do it now....I gotta tell them it's a meet/install. Still I need you for the management so I have to wait, unless we can push this earlier. I have not seen anyone else posting here, I guess the Florida guys are mostly pussies Except for maybe two or three....

im in for jan 20th, but i would just rather do it a little later. im still in though. no worries. i also got my datalogging working the other day so that is covered. only problem i see is a wideband. i dont have one and dont see me getting one before then

Cool then Jan 20th it is.....I'm tempted on trying to get a wideband, just not sure I want to pay to use it once.... Now that I think of it, If I get it, maybe you can help me tune the WRX too. If you are interested. I'm running a Turbo XS Utec ECU and the guys that tuned it did not do a street run, just in the dyno, and on High boost the car would detonate in 4th gear.
That's if you want and there's time.....

Any suggestions on the wideband? I'll start checking things around to see if I can afford it.

in my opinion widebands are all the same. just find the one you like the best

if there is time i will help with the WRX. where can i get the software? is it also done with a chip like the hondas? if i can download the software before the meet then i can get familire with it a little and that will speed up the proces

I'm not sure how it works, but from what I remember You need a laptop with a serial port, then it runs using a basic windows run program, everything else is on the ECU

here's a link to the software upgrade maybe you can figure something out. Don't bother if it's too much to learn, although you could start tuning subarus, evos and srt4's with UTEC and make some money.

Im curious how much you picked the turbo up for, it looks new.

$300, the guy said he put in on the car, sr20 sentra, drove for 500 miles and had to sell the car, so he parted it out. By the look of it I believe the low miles, because it does look like new. He also gave me the other two housings that I could sell maybe for $40-$50 each and ed up with a pretty nice $200 turbo.
