I drove on a JB welded rad that held a blown headgasket worth of pressure for half a year. The trick is, jd wled aluminum foil over the whole. Works awesome.

I jb welded my radiator as follows

rough plastic up and clean.

1 layer quick jb weld
1 layer tin foil
1 layer quick jb weld
1 layer tin foil
2-3 layers of quick jb weld

It held for 2+ years and was still holding when I sold the car
