I wish biofuel would catch on...I work in the agricultural industry(building farm equipment) and if E85 or whatever was available at every gas station across this country, I could probaly make a NICE living for myself.

You and 90% of the other people in the MidWest. I dont see why people are so opposed to this. I'd take time to explain, but simply dont care. I'm not going to change anyone's mind anyway...

Ethanol is only super profitable because of the Govt subsidizing it. It also drives the price of feed corn up which in turn makes food costs rise for the average American.

There are no real riches to be made. Just shifting where the money is. People will be spending money no matter what. We need a real alternative.

That's down the same line as the Micro-Diesel I posted. I think bacteria is seriously the way to go. Notice how much more efficient they are at producing than corn.

Corn 20-30 gallons per acre. Just ------- horrible.

Bacteria Eat Human Sewage, Produce Rocket Fuel
"The unusual microbes consume ammonia, producing hydrazine—better known as rocket fuel—in the process."

"Legendary Texas oil man T. Boone Pickens has gone green with a plan to spend $10 billion to build the world's biggest wind farm. But he's not doing it out of generosity - he expects to turn a buck"

I like the fact he wants to make this wind farm....I wish more investors would come out of the wood works.

I have always thought that a wind generator for an electric or an electric power assist vehicle would be a nice way produce/recover electricity...hell a person could aerodynamically arrange several of these generators so that power would be produced while sitting still ...I guess it would be a nice addition to solar panels/battery pack.
