Default A few projects (with pics) turbo love, but not honda

I started work at a place called Donny's 4 wheel drive world about two weeks ago. So far we've done two Kelderman kits on ford diesels since I've been there. I snapped a few pics, and thought I'd share.

This jeep belongs to the sother mechanic that works there. It's got a spring-over opened spring packs, and quick disconnect stabilizer bars, and no track bars. The thing flexes like your 10 yo sister.

Special edition Matco Rat Fink tool box that we just got in this morning .

The Kelderman we did last week. He's gonna run 38s.

Another shot. And more about that grey ford in the back ground later.

Dualy's front axle.

Dualy's front bag shot.

Bad *** F350 before install. 8" lift, cross-over, 39x16.5 , gears, banks exhaust, and intercooler kit, edge with attitude, garrett turbo, etc...The thing sounds like a jet, and you can literally hear it coming from more than a mile away. That ------ turbo is loud!

In the shop, almost done.

Out side with the Kelderman on. Went down to 38s but got rid of those pos 16.5s, and went with 17x14" weld stonecrushers.

I wish I took better pics of the grey truck, this thing is awesome! After we were done we took it through a cruise through town and I've never seen so many peoples heads turn. Kids were pointing, chicks were smiling... We pulled up to a stoplight and this riced out teg on bags pulled up and started ------ with his bags when he saw us. The exhaust dump is right behind the drivers side door so it was blowing right in the tegs window . I think we're getting like 10" total lift up front with the shocks we got now, but when we get the new ones in it should get about 2-3" more. The kit says about 6-13" lift, I think it's more extreme than that. Driving through town we had the back dumped to what seemed like lower than stock height, and the front as far up as it could go. Yeah that was stupid but sick at the same time. ---- I wasn't really into big trucks before this but after one ride, I think building one of these will be one of my goals in life.

some of tose those trucks are nice but 13" of lift is crazy, we have those big *** trucks all over here, id personally rather build a prerunner, but i love the sound of the turbo diesels, weve got this white f350 duallly out here that you can ------ hear the thing spoolin from a mile away, its ------ sick.

MMmm this is my favorite. Those big trucks are cool and all but I bet this cj/yj would leave all of em behind as soon as you hit the first tight corner in the woods. And there is no feeling like taking the top and doors off and going cruzing.

It's a YJ, the fenders are different on the CJs.

All nice trucks, and they do serve their purpose, but damn are they expensive.

And yeah, nothing better than cruising in an old CJ7 with no top/doors, they go anywhere you aim them.

---- yeah those things cost alot. The guy who owns the grey truck must have dropped abotu $70,000 on the truck before he brought it in, and $15,000 more after we were done. And he's not done yet. BTW he's like 23 and works laying tile. He's not a drug dealer either. He's a cool guy too, not what I'd expect. And that jeep is a '89, square headlight, cj/yj...I don't know. That damn jeep performs damn well for what it's got. I think he's gonna go with 36"s later on when he gets some money (we get paid peanuts), and finishes cutting out the fenders. He says it should be able to take 38"s with out rubbing when he cuts his fenders.
