dt build up
ok so as none of you may know i got hit on my rear pass quarter last month and i basically put that car up for a while. i was getting ready to put my kit on but because of this im pulling the motor to build it.
so since i have no more my car(just a 90 teg with 255k on it) ive been lookin around town and found one cheap. basically just a rollin chas. and im takin my b series kit and makein it for a d series.
what i have so far is:
d16z6
hf mani
t25
1g bov
cca fmic
450cc
oil lines but i might need new ones for the t25
1gen afc
stock ecus up the ***
what i need is:
adapter plate
charge pipes
gauges
ecu socketed and basemap(thinkin of bbka any thoughts?)
and random stuff(fill in any thoughts of what i might still need)
motor is out of car. the car it was pulled from had 201k min on the cluster but it looks like someone opened it so it may have been rebuilt. but it ran b4 we pulled it and it didnt feel like a car with 210k on it but who knows. but what i wanted to know was should i pull the head and look at the gasket? ive heard of people having probs and since its out and just sitting there i thought i might as well. basically my goal is to finally be boosted, and to have a fun dd for the winter but i want to do this b4 my 21 bday which is dec 7th. and get the know how for my b series. so if ya have any info on the head gasket or any lil bs things about a boosted d let me know cuz i want this to go as smooth as posible.
o yeah and i know i didnt say what kind of car but it will be a civic hatch the one im looking at is a 92-95 but if that falls threw i have the whole ex wire harness so ill just find any hatch and drop it all in.

yeah it sucks but i still ne some info. tues ill be buyin my adapter plate and charge pipes and oil lines if i need them. so any help would be nice.
and on a nother note me and my boy finally put in a jap b16 w/ ls tranny into his 95 4dr. got some pics nothing really special. just basic drop in. but it helps alot when you have the right axles. ill post them up later.
