Computer geek needed
Today out of nowhere my computer started acting up, the "busy" light is constantly on and it's doing SOMETHING, but I have no idea what. I restarted and it does the same thing, non stop. When I look at the task manager, I don't see any obvious programs or anything using a whole lot of memory.
Is there a way to see exactly what program is causing my computer to be busy? Maybe an application?

I'm assuming it's some type of Trojan or worm, or something that works "behind the scenes." That ---- happened to my laptop the first week through the res hall network, so I just reformated my computer and it all went away. I take it you've run your anti-spy and anti-virus software?

Mine only does that when my anti virus is running a full scan. But if you rebooted and it still does it, I would agree that it could be a trojan or worm. Sorry man but looks like a reformat could be in your future.
