Fixed the pics. Still want some opinions here, because this car really is nice.. but I can maybe get a CRX for cheap and a B18 and turbo it or something, not sure. what do you guys think?

depends on what you want. Hondas are fun cause they're cheap, if you smash one or blow up a motor it doesn't cost too much. But a semi-restored conquest with some decent tweaking and R W D (rear wheel drive) would own alot of people at the meets you plan on going to. There generally going to cost about the same, especially if a ricer owned your crx at any time, they have a tendancy to screw with wiring harnesses.

Seriously, get $4k, knock on his door and tell him to give you the keys.

"I" think it's worth $4K, ofcourse I hold no value in money; mostly because I have none.

I'm telling you, show up with 4 grand and slap it on him, act like your parents don't know about it and say this is all you got. He'll **** and moan, then you bring up the small problems with the car and note the KBB and that you checked other cars of similar shape. Then He'll **** and moan some more. NEVER say you need the car or want the car; of course it'e implied but don't say it out right; just say how much you like the looks and heard it would make a good project, get him sidetracked into talking about preformance or restoration, let him bitch and moan a little bit more then let there be an eerie silence for a good while until he caves in. Oh and make sure he sees the dough; don't flash it at him, just have an open envelope in your shirt pocket. Then buy it.

go there with ur offer, look at the car, and point out all the bad things, dont talk, kinda look at it, play with it, just dont talk. kinda look at it like it is just a pile, and u dont want it. tell him ur lookin for a project vehicle, and that about it. tell him ur lookin at a few others. then be like Ill give you 4 for it and SHUT UP! first person to talk after that looses. if he says no, or counteroffers, say I have 4G and that all. Im a highschool student....bla bla bla. then tell him again what u will have to fix and ----, and tell him its just a toy for you. if he still wont take 4, give him ur number and walk away.

*I was a car salesman before the miltiary....it works.* most of that is how we would talk people down with trades.

if the guy has a 5k+ price tag on it, he's probably in no huge hurry to sell it. further, if he's been babying it all these years, he'll probably be reluctant to sell it to a high-school student. even more so if you act like you're just going to throw it away. car salesmen tend to annoy people
