@ lennyj
yeah there are lots of bikes shops over here, lol, we have a main dealer for almost every big manufacturer, so getting parts is pretty easy, as long as its in available across ( mainland UK ) we can have it here in a few days,
the island is pretty bike mad, so that helps trade alot,
i was talking to some people at some party last night, and they have had both bikes and they thought the carbed bike was a bit more aggressive when it came to power delivery, they seemed to prefer that, lol! as apposed to the injection being a bit smoother,

Only reason I've had them come back is for a retune.
I know the PC II's had some issues with certain bikes, but I never ran into them. And it's only been PC III's since last year going into bikes.
Let me know why you think they suck? I'm interested to hear the problems you had.
As for the power delivery of carbs vs. FI, that was the big reason for the switch. The hit of power wasn't as strong with the FI bikes so it made for an easier ride. Only a little low speed lurch when riding around in 1st or 2nd on the FI's.
When it comes to business I'm all for the carb'd bikes . Quick rebuild time and not much that can go wrong. But the FI bikes are a lot smoother to ride and will eventually be a standard with the exception of some of the track only bikes.

Because they cost like 400 dollars, and the bikes never ran as well as they did when we just retuned with the victory software. Wich our shop would do for 50 bucks. Or free if we installed pipes or something else that would create the need for a retune. And we had a couple guys fry their bikes trying to install it there selfs, but thats not power commanders fault. Just stupidity. Ive never messed with a power commander on anything else.

Not sure how they could have fried anything, it's all plug and play. But I guess no matter how hard you try to idiot proof something, there is always an idiot able to ---- it up.
I've helped a few people tune thiers who were able to install it themselves. Not much to it.
Have yet to work on a Victory though. While I respect the company, I've never been able to really take them seriously. To me they are just another one of the host of companies jumping on the cruiser/Harley bandwagon. While they are visually appealing, they look just like the rest. But if they can make the money, more power to em.
