nah there's no scatter at all its brighter than any bemmer's light i've seen so far and thats on low beam. and for the ed and eg's im not sure cuzz the reason y there's no scatter from my headlights is cuzz there's no flutes, im not sure if your have em but my boys DA we had to sand down the flutes and put projectors on em( but you dont have too put projectors).

8000K its more whitish blue up close but far away its purpleish blue, i want like 4-5000K cuzz its more white the lower the number's the whiter it is i've seen 16000k's on a accord and its pink.
