i know it's fucked up, but i laughed so hard at this. i'm pretty toasted. if it were me, i'd sober up, and go to that *********** house in the morning and at least talk to him about it before getting too far into the legal aspect of it all. if your bill of sale says as is/where is, you're pretty much fucked.

talk to him civilly first.

A bill of sale isnt required by law in NC.

Also, the seller is only liable in NC if the car has a SALVAGE title and this information was not disclosed before purchase. If it was simply wrecked and has a normal title, person A is fucked.

Wow after seeing the pictures, which I can't see at work. There is somethign to be said about selling a vehicle knowing (he worked on it) that it is unsafe. You may actually have a leg to stand on here.
