Hahahaha, how the hell did you miss that? Did he put 'for sale as is' in the agreement? If so I'd say youre fucked in the ***.

A bill of sale isnt required by law in NC.

Also, the seller is only liable in NC if the car has a SALVAGE title and this information was not disclosed before purchase. If it was simply wrecked and has a normal title, person A is fucked.

the ***** between the ac/radiator ---- and the bumper. Unless I took everything apart, no way I could tell.

Wow after seeing the pictures, which I can't see at work. There is somethign to be said about selling a vehicle knowing (he worked on it) that it is unsafe. You may actually have a leg to stand on here.
