How convenient do you need teh chip burner to be? I got an older batronix but it needs 12v power (I plug it into the wall currently) and a parallel port on your pc. Worked great for me but I upgraded to a burn1. For a desktop burner it is tits, but for riding in the car it's more than a simple usb plug like the burn1.

Thanks tim, but I think that would end up costing me as much as a used burn1 after I got the conversion cables for my laptop. I might just buy a burn1 or one of the willems.

Complex, how much for shipping on the resistor box?

Burn1 hasnt burnt me a dead chip yet in 4 years of owning it. Atleast 500 chips burned

If you have a large envelope the resistor box is under a pound so shipping first class usps will be your best bet

I have a William never used with both cables. I bought it, tried to ---- with the software but never figured it out cause I was drunk and broke the CD. Has sat in my desk for over 2 years, make a decent offer and its yours.

they're not cheap bits. the gold isn't titanium nitrited, it's moSt nitrited. google what it is, it's superior to titanium in pretty much all ways. try to not use it for aluminum (if you do keep it lubed with light oil ie wd40), that's what the standard carbide one is for, why ruin a $8 deburring bit?

taps are money too. retail i sent you $35-40 in bits :6 :6
