i need gaskets for garret t2 turbo from a 84 nissan 200sx. the gaskets i need are the manifold/turbo gasket t2 style flange and the turbo/downpipe gasket which is a 5 bolt style. i also need a t3 flange exhaust gasket as well. pm please if you have them at all with a price shipped to 48342. thanks, Nova.

you dont use gaskets you get exhaust leaks...which leads to boost leeks, then leads to boost creep/dropoff. wtf are you thinkin?

 

never used them, never had issues. Red silicon ---- FTW lol. Ive never had any leaks with that ---- anywhere ive used it.

 

how much do you think that will cost me? i already tried murrays up here and they cant get them. can i use that gasket material you can buy instead for the exhaust flanges? or is that not the best idea to use.

 

i was looking for 1, for my rhb5 and the only place icould find it was on kragen autoparts,for $80 ---- since then jb weld is my new friend

 

I dont use any, until I get a leak. Then I make some outta sheet metal and copper spray from the depot.

 

i just read a post about that in the FI forum section. i think im gonna take a trip to home depot tomorrow and see how much the copper spray and the copper sheet cost. i can do either or, i just dont want any leaks to start with or end up with later down the road. reliability is key with my cars. even if a few parts still need to be replaced that im to lazy to do because i want boost.
