WTB Greddy profec boost controller remote
like the title says , running a greddy profec type s EBC, but because of the limmited mounting option in the 95 civics, I had to mount it in my glove box, so its kinda hard to switch to high boost while hauling ass.
give me your best price. new or used. |

Don't use the overpriced greddy button! This is HMT :6 Just get a standard (either 2.5mm or 3.5mm, I forgot) stereo headphone jack/wire and plug it in to where the official one is supposed to plug in on the back of the Type S. Just wire in a button and place the button wherever you want in your car. Here's a pic of mine, the upper black button

Re: WTB Greddy profec boost controller remote
thought about doing that, but I want it to be accessible by my thumb while I am racing.
its very hard to keep control, this car pulls like a bull at only 10 psi, and my high boost will be 20 psi. I will experiment with it until I find something wireless, maybe one of my horn buton, or cruise control accell/decell switch. |
Re: WTB Greddy profec boost controller remote
You can easily tap it into your horn button, that way you'll also let everybody know when you switch to high boost and leave em in the dust O0

Re: WTB Greddy profec boost controller remote
yeah, but I would just cut the horn signal from the horn switch I decide to use. even though my horn don't work ;)

Re: WTB Greddy profec boost controller remote
I had the greddy profec b-spec II, it sucked. Hard as ---- to program and a ton of surging with a 14b. I hit 16 pounds one day.. Thanks greddy!!

Re: WTB Greddy profec boost controller remote
That's why the Type S is so nice. Just turn the knobs, no clicking through seemingly endless menus.

Re: WTB Greddy profec boost controller remote
3 knobs+1 button so simple to use, I installed and operate it without having a user manual. its like using a dual stage manual boost controller from inside the car with the added performance of the gain knob,
