WTB Flex hone(dingleberry) tool for honing LS
Looking to do it myself and no shops around me carry them. So if you have one laying around hook me up! I've looked on ebay but they just have the heavier grit flex hones for like rebores and nothing for just a hone. Need a 400 grit.

Fine. Gimme your paypal steve. How much did you pay for it or do you know what grit yours is? i see acouple on ebay but there all around 250-100 grit and I've read to use a 400 grit.

I'd say the grit is right around 400. It's pretty fine. With the adjustable tension you could do really soft stuff, or you could snap a ring on install and gouge the cylinder and get rougher to smooth it out. (yes, I've done it.)
I used wd40 to "lube" it when I honed it, so the stones get a little gummed up, but I'll send a brush to help you out if that happens.
Stealthmodeperformance@yahoo.com $5.75 will cover it priority style.

Man, I looked all over for one, and then found it at some off brand hardware store (like Ace or some ----), but it seemed to be independant, so I can't say a "chain" would definately have one. It was $40.

The dingleberry hones are mad bank. Even on ebay their expensive. 40-70 bucks. The 3 stone ones can be found around 10-30 on ebay new. Every store around me has the 3 stones but none with the dingleberry or it had to be special order and from NAPA it was like 70 bucks! Yowzers!!!
