The castle nut on my ball joint is stripped like a mother so I am going to end up cutting it off. Need the whole control arm because I can't press the ball joint in. Don't care how old it is as long as it isn't too beat. Oh, it's driver side too.

 

You mean the ball joint that the control arm connects to under the spindle/brake assembly?
if so, the ball joint is pressed into the spindle and not the control arm.
where are you located?

 

If you cut it you should be able to pound it out after you get it off the car? That's a fucked up situation. Good luck.

Maybe easier to just get a complete new side. Most junkyards charge 75-100 for a complete side
