Re: WTB: D16z6 Jackson racing supercharger kit
should get a sc14 off a toyota previa I put one on d16z6 did it for less than 550 usd. 15 psig boost (after fixing all the boost leakes) scary at 3.5k rpms to 8k.
I have some problems keeping the intercooler pipes together b/c I used hose clamps. I have not rigidly mount the intercooler yet that would probably help. |

Re: WTB: D16z6 Jackson racing supercharger kit
can you post pics of how you did it?
[/quote] yeah trying to post but the picture file are too large so try. Warning this a low budget build and latter redone as a more reliable. http://www.ephotospace.com/RussForne...cid=6662&pid=1 hopefully this works I'm still trying to post pictures. |

Re: WTB: D16z6 Jackson racing supercharger kit
Well I'm going to twin charge my built D16 I figured it would be worth a try and if it blows it wont be as costly as a B-series.

Re: WTB: D16z6 Jackson racing supercharger kit
I am going to do the same I'm trying to figure how to fit the turbo with the supercharger taking up a lot of room under the hood.

Re: WTB: D16z6 Jackson racing supercharger kit
look at the pict. I have my sc14 supercharger where the a/c was at. Matter of fact I even have the clutch turned on or off with the a/c switch on the dash. And sc14 is a 1440cc (88 cid) displacement not a 46, 62, 0r 72 cid jackson supercharger.

Re: WTB: D16z6 Jackson racing supercharger kit
I'll either use a manifold that brings the turbo toward the passenger side or run the turbo down low w/ oil sump. The only real problem I have ecu and which of the three turbos I have I want to use.

Re: WTB: D16z6 Jackson racing supercharger kit
I got to 16psig boost and plugging boost leaks.
I had the last 3 pipes to the tb welded. I may have to add an extra a DSM bov to relief pressure faster. I will start my own build thread as soon as I can get the picture to post better right now all I can do is post a like to MyPhotoSpace. |

Re: WTB: D16z6 Jackson racing supercharger kit
yeah but on mine I have th A/C style clutch hooked up to my A/C switch on the dash. I can drive without the S/C engaged. W/o my S/C I still get 30+mpg in town.
