I've decided to save my money and just get my resurfaced when i pull the tranny, it will take me the extra hour or so to take it to the tranny shop and have them resurface it but he said that he'd do it for $15 so i'm going to do that. Seeing how everyone and their mom seems to have one I'd have a better bet scraping my old one than trying to get rid of it.

I got lucky when I got mine resurfaced. It wasn't in that bad of shape, but I thought I'd get it resurfaced anyway for peace of mind. Came back to pick it up at the machine shop and he said no charge, it hardly took him any time at all.
