Re: WTB Catalytic converters
$300 each, how many you want?
|
Re: WTB Catalytic converters
They went from $200 each to $300 each just because this is a different board?
http://crx.honda-perf.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=10017 Anyway, I'll take 0 from you as I can get them cheaper from a Honda dealer. |
Re: WTB Catalytic converters
I have one from a 95 EX. It's rusted a bit and the heat shield rattles. $30 plus whatever shipping is.

I think its a great idea for everyone.KVH makes his money we make ours. he makes money on something I sell. Welcome to america. KVH great idea |
Re: WTB Catalytic converters
kvh, what are you paying per cat? I have a few 96 S10 blazer cats and a few civic cats. Let me know.

Re: WTB Catalytic converters

Re: WTB Catalytic converters
Anyone else? Quite a few of you have been paid and I have received them. Chris, are you still sending the collection you are growing?

Re: WTB Catalytic converters
i got one in good condition from a 96 civic ex 30+ shjpping
how much are these worth at the recyclers anyways? they got platinum in them right? |
Re: WTB Catalytic converters
50 shipped which means you'll get more than the $30.00 + shipping. I am STRONGLY against paypal, but I made an account to pay people because you guys love it so much. Let me know the address. As far as how much they are worth, its NOT the platinum. The metal worth the $$$ is the rhodium that cats have and it all depends on your quantity. The only thing is there is a minimum quantity when selling them to someone who is melting them down. Most people do not have 500 cats sitting in their garage. I own a salvage business in PA so I do have these quantities and getting more never hurts. This way you are getting money for something that is pretty much worthless to the average guy and I am making a profit as well. It works out well for everyone.

Re: WTB Catalytic converters
i also hate paypal (see below). i will take 50$ money order though let me know ill PM u my address
whats rhodium used for? ive heard of local places paying more for import cats, someone told me they have more of whatever is valuable? sorry for all the questions, im just like that.. but how do they sell these "high flow cats" so cheap on ebay if the guts are valuable? |

Rhodium has been used for honors, or to symbolize wealth, when more commonly used metals such as silver, gold, or platinum are deemed insufficient. In 1979 the Guinness Book of World Records gave Paul McCartney a rhodium-plated disc for being history's all-time best-selling songwriter and recording artist. Guinness has also noted items such as the world's "Most Expensive Pen" or "Most Expensive Board Game" as containing rhodium. Guess they should have talked to you first so they could get their ---- right. |
