my throw out bearing seems to make alot of noise or its possibly the trans, im just looking for a cheap used clutch kit so i can test to see if it is the throw out bearing or the trans before i dump money into a good clutch setup and not a tranny.

i'm confused, do you need a clutch disc and pressure plate? i've got one from a z6 with a little surface rust.

he wants a clutch kit so he can use the bearing basicly... just buy a new bearing, it'll end up being cheaper

im not totally sure if it is the pilot bearing, its when im driving in first gear its quite then if i speed up still in first to like 3000 RPM it makes like a bad noise, like tranny has no fluid, but it does. then if im setting at a stop light it still makes the noise till i push the clutch in and the noise goes away, any thoughts. i just need to fix it soon to sell the car for a boosted LS im gettin

if its in the tranny would i still hear the noise when i push my clutch in ???
