Are they necessary?
Copper spray? Im sure the carbon will seal it up anyways. But what do I know?

Hey whats up with the copper spray stuff everyone is talking about? Can you use this on just about anything?? Anyone has good experience with these?? And where can I find them?

downpipe gasket is not required if both surfaces are flat

Copper spray makes up for small imperfections by filling them in, works good as extra insurance.
