Stock head studs for D16y8
 

Hey guys. My D16y8 head is missing a couple studs to hold the manifolds on. They look to be the same on both sides. I need about 5 as I remember. Maybe other models use the same size. I'm not sure. Thanks.

I got one at the honda dealership when I broke one. I think I paid $2 for it. I've also seen them in the pull out drawer section of the local Value hardware as well. I have a couple extras, but not 5. If you can't find them, let me know and I'll get some from the hardware store and send them to you.

The only time I've ever met Boost was at Danny's install. Who was the lazy ass, again?? ::)

Purecrx, I tried to look them up on hondaautomotive parts, but they didnt' give me a part number. Lets see if someone has some at thier house before I ask you to start running errands for me. Thanks though.

Um, that was pretty much my plan ;) Anyway, you didn't ask, I offered. I go there all the time anyway, so it wouldn't be putting me out or making a special trip.

Way off topic.... ::)

Only waiting on crankshaft before the whole bottom end machining is done. Got a call today the the crank is coming back on Monday. So next week I'm sending everything to the balancer and he should have it about 3-7 days. After I pick it up from there all there will be to do is assemble everything. Then install it. When is it gonna be done?? who the ---- knows. :-\ At least with all of this time, I have really concentrated on making sure everything is done the right way. I'd hate to rush through a project like this. coughhotrexcough. ;D
