I think it means the turbos maximum efficiency is 300 hp. thats probably the sweet spot on the turbo and its boost level. turbos work best at a certain level

Dude has lots of used 14B's and T25's laying around usually, does a lot of DSM work.

 

Don't go for the used Turbos. I got used one and that was flawed. Apparently, it was looking new.

I am batting around 8 for 10 with used turbos, most of them being Mitsubishi 14B's and 16G's. Of those 2 that were not working properly, only one could not be rebuilt, the other needed seals and balanced and it's still running on a civic 2 years later.

To the original poster, if you have a choice between a Mitsubishi style 14B / 16G style turbo and Mitsubishi/Garrett T25 (all from DSM's), get the mitsubishi turbo (14B / 16G), it will last you longer.

 

I have a garrett that is a t3 .42/.63. The rear seal is apparently leaking. I will sell it for 150 as is or 300 fully rebuilt obo

I have a great dsm t25 I'm pullin off my Del Sol cause im goin bigger. Spools at full boost by 3000 with my d16z6 sohc. I'll take 150 for it. If you want the t3 to t25 flange adapter I'll do 175 for both.
