As topic says, need a guaranteed working on arrival P28 ECU, ASAP! Anyone??

 

i can convert one of my Po6's to a P28 and make it chipped, you interested in that?

 

What is the cost you would be looking for? Chipped as in the socket and chip, or just socketed? Its my intention to socket the ECU for Uberdata as it is, so you would be helping me save a step. What effect does converting to the P28 have compared to a genuine P28 ECU? Do I need to convert any of my harnesses? AND HOW MUCH?!

 

there is nothing diffrent from the po6 board i have with the p28 and it runs JUST like the OEM P28. this would include the chip as well burnt as a p28 program. i am looking at $100 shipped for it.

 

The P06 is just the non-Vtec ECU, correct? Is the chip running a P28 program allow the Vtec at this point? Same wiring harness right? The chip will be removable so I can burn my own chips and drop them in, correct? Also, this is 5 speed, correct?

Price sounds reasonable to me.

 

yes, its a 5 speed but i have to add parts to it to convert it to VTEC. so it will be a VTEC ECU. so ill use a 29c256 chip and a zif socket ETC on the ECU. this ECU will work on any OBD 1 wiring harness as long as it wired for VTEC.
