i am doing the h22 swap into a honda civic so if anyone has the h22 engine complete or just the engine let me know the dohc vtec is prefered but i will be fine with any h22 let me know

 

all h22 are dohc vtec. the only other prelude engine that is not dohc vtec is the h23.

Should have asked about 3 months ago. I had an almost complete h22 swap for sale. Its gone now.. =(

 

Turbo90accord where do u live and is the ecu and wiring harness with that.Is the tranny auto or standard let me know ok

This thred is funny. First, he is a lude guy and doesnt know that all H22's are DOHC VTEC, then says he 'might think about' an offer for one for $1500. Thats a good deal. What do you expect? There are a few different H22's

H22a - JDM y0
H22a1 - 93-96. bigger injectors than the a4, more 'pronounced' vtec
H22a4 - 97+ Dont feel as strong as the a1's and I dont really like the gearing of the tranny. You have to beat it to keep it in vtec between shifts.
Theres also another H22 that went in the type S. I dunno the code.

If you are going turbo, get an H23. The motor already has more torque, lower compression and longer gears.

- OR - save your money, get an F22 for $100 and build it for boost.
